E hoje recebi o telefonema que me fará rumar para a semana à Ilha Terceira, Açores.
Se vai ser uma curta visita ou o início de uma nova etapa, ainda não sei...

Eclipse total da Lua de 4ª para 5ª feira
«Se as nuvens não o impedirem, o fenómeno astronómico será visível na noite de quarta para quinta-feira a partir das 00H35 (hora de Lisboa), num momento em que a Lua cheia estará bastante alta no céu, em boas condições para se observar a sua ocultação.
A Lua ficará com um tom avermelhado durante o eclipse, que atingirá a sua expressão máxima às 03H26, com a Lua a mergulhar completamente na sombra da Terra.
"O disco lunar estará sempre visível, com várias tonalidades entre o cinzento e o avermelhado, devido às radiações luminosas projectadas por partículas da atmosfera terrestre", explicou à agência Lusa fonte do OAL.
A Lua vai entrar sucessivamente na penumbra (00H35) e na sombra (01H43) até começar o eclipse total, que decorrerá entre as 03H01 e as 03H52.
Nas fases seguintes, a Lua sairá da sombra às 05H09 e da penumbra às 06H17, altura em que o seu disco estará de novo totalmente visível, embora a sua imagem comece a dissolver-se com o nascimento de um novo de dia.
O começo da fase de sombra será visível em África, na Europa, no Oceano Atlântico, na América Central e do Sul, e na América do Norte, com excepção da zona ocidental.
Quanto ao final do fenómeno, só poderá ser visto na Europa ocidental e na orla mais ocidental de África, no Oceano Atlântico, no continente americano e na metade leste do Oceano Pacífico.
Este eclipse tem a particularidade da Lua não atravessar a sombra da terra pelo meio, mas sim um pouco abaixo do diâmetro central e paralelo à orbita da Lua, o que tornará menor a fase de ocultação total.
Os últimos eclipses totais da Lua visíveis em Portugal ocorreram a 03 de Março de 2007 e a 28 de Outubro de 2004.»
